Dianna Cox, BSN, RN

Chief Nursing Officer

Dianna was raised in Topeka and graduated from Washburn Rural High School in 2000. She completed her undergraduate studies at The University of Kansas and received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Washburn University. Since graduating, she has focused her nursing career on emergency and correctional nursing.

What Dianna appreciates most about nursing is the ever-changing dynamics of the work environment, ensuring that no two shifts are ever the same and providing a unique experience each day.

Dianna has been at Topeka ER & Hospital since its opening and has rediscovered her "why" for becoming a nurse. She believes taking the time to sit down, make eye contact, and truly listen to patients is a powerful reminder that everyone faces their challenges, and simply being present can make a significant difference in their lives.

In her off time, Dianna spends time with her two children, Kord and Kampbell, and her significant other, Matt. She loves watching her kids participate in their activities, going to concerts, and trying new breweries and wineries. Her perfect day would be spent poolside with friends and family.
