Growing up in southeast Kansas, Dr. Herrin has always been passionate about providing medical care to his home state. He received his bachelor’s degree in biology from Pittsburg State University and his medical degree from the University of Kansas School of Medicine. Dr. Herrin completed his Emergency Medicine residency at Baystate Medical Center in Massachusetts. Since 2008, Dr. Herrin has been a board-certified emergency physician in Lawrence and is thrilled to provide concierge-level care at Topeka ER & Hospital. He loves the fast-paced nature of emergency medicine and is excited to spend more one-on-one time with patients in Topeka. When not working, Dr. Herrin spends ample time with his family, either on the water or outdoors.
